Photogravures

Yucatan is a state located in the south of Mexico. It makes up one of three states of the Yucatan Peninsula. These Photogravures were made over the past 10 years in the taller de Xenios. The gravures are flat plate, open grain photogravures. The images were hand pulled by the artist on a press built by the artist. Mr. Xenios maintains a home and studio in Merida, the capital of the state. If traveling to Yucatan, photographs can be viewed by appointment by contacting Andrew.
